About SPI 2017-02-03T12:52:36+00:00

Salter Property Investments is a Devon based development company run by Peter, Gary & Luke Salter.
As a privately owned business we have a forward thinking and dynamic approach to our projects. We believe that providing a quality product whilst maintaining an honest, personal side is paramount.
SPI has three main areas of business:

  • Development

Our vision is to create a unique range of contemporary homes that draw on our strong company ethos of attention to detail and innovative design.
We search for the most desirable locations across the South West. We then design and build each home as if it were our own. Using high quality materials, employing skilled tradesmen and looking over every aspect with meticulous care.
With many years of development history in the region we look to prioritise community involvement and support of local trades and businesses.
Ultimately we hope you enjoy living in our homes as much as we enjoyed creating them.

  • Planning

Our specialties are in promoting land and in adding value by amending existing planning permissions. This is a very involved process and where we feel we have a real edge.
We thoroughly believe in the importance of working with parish councils and local residents to take on board their comments and concerns early in the planning process.
We will consider any opportunity and do not have set business criteria.

  • Investment

Our portfolio of rental properties form the stable base of our business. This alternative income stream supports our development cashflows and allows us to be particularly selective when taking on new projects.
We are continuously looking to expand this element of the business. Primarily we look at existing residential investments with upside opportunities or buildings that have possibility of residential conversion.

If you are interested in our future developments or would like to discuss an opportunity to work with us on a project then please get in touch.
